PULLING REFERENCES

Since the team is based off of a real university, we started by looking at their merch like this one: 
 

We loved the stripes and found several examples of it used through the history of the school. Staying true to the school's merchandise, our design features red and gold colors with a Trojan helmet logo.

To craft the helmet for our Exy specific design, we studied every description we could find in the books. Our goal was to combine the Trojan helmet look with what a realistic Exy helmet. The hockey helmet became a huge inspiration and breakthrough but it still took multiple drafts to combine it with it's ancient ancestor. 

BOOK DETAILS

In all shirt designs, we want to make sure to reference the story when we add text. "The sunshine court" and "Exy" were both elements we wanted to include. Class 1 became another important addition to place it in the universe of NCAA Class 1 Exy division.

COLOR OPTIONS 

When we ordered samples, we made sure to get red and grey as most real life Trojan merchandise are in those colorways. This design gave us the opportunity to order and test a new red color for our sweatshirts and we hope you like it!
